3 EASY TO SETUP ACTIVITIES

PATTERNS USING POPSTICKS

Draw the outline of the popsticks on the paper with different colours (colour matching). The toddler gets to match the  popsticks to the outline drawn on the paper. A very simple and easy activity. Can be set up in just few minutes. Hand eye coordination develops in this activity.

UNDERSTANDING THE PURPOSE OF GLUE

I just drew the trunk and branches of a tree on the paper . I used the fevistik and stuck a leaf  to show Chintu how he can use it because this is his first time with fevistik. This activity lasted for about 15 minutes with any distractions.

Why this for the prompt wish? Because I really WISH the cities had plenty of trees  which will bring down pollution to a great extent. I really WISH we get to breathe healthy because not everyone can afford an air purifier. Air, water is basic need but we live in a world where we pay for the water we drink or invest in purifying air and water. I really WISH our kids grow in an healthy environment. Let’s start at home and teach our kids to preserve nature.

OUTLINE THE LEGO BLOCKS AND MATCH

It was raining in the morning today. I had to come up with something quickly to keep Chintu busy because he had other plans and sensed it (to play in the rain).

I was wondering what to do and found these Lego blocks lying on the floor -he was playing with it last night. Just grabbed a paper and pen drew the outline of the Lego blocks, asked Chintu to match the Lego with the outline. You can do this activity by drawing the outline with different colours, and match the Lego considering the outline and colour.
