THE CONCEPT OF SHORT & LONG

Helping kids understand simple concept through simple everyday play hacks. Activities need not be complicated, you don’t need to spend too much to buy things/toys always. Setup activities with what you have at home.

This is a very simple activity to help kids understand and differentiate the concept of “Short and Long”. All you need is some washi tape.

Make a column for short and long. Cut out the washi tapes in two different sizes – short and long. Hand them all in a row at a place. Now ask the child to differentiate the sizes and stick them to the corresponding column. That’s it.

You can try this activity with younger kids. We did this activity long back when Chintu was around 18 months old. And did this again today after ages.
