MAGIC : BAKING SODA AND VINEGAR

The Combo of baking soda and vinegar never fails to excite a toddler . Don’t you agree with me.

Things used :

• muffin tray
• food colour (liquid)
• baking soda
• vinegar

I added a few drops of food colour in the muffin tray and covered it with baking soda. Gave Chintu some vinegar and a small spoon. Asked him to add the vinegar slowly into the muffin tray (on the baking soda). As he added the vinegar to the baking soda the food colour popped out and he was surprised – he least expected to see the bright colours – he was super happy and excited. We repeated the activity few more times on demand.

It was literally a magic for him to see the colours pop out from the white baking soda
