COUNTING USING PAPER CLIPS

How to set up this activity ?
- Cut out a piece of black paper into a small square to fit in the two digit number
- Punched in a small hole on the paper (on one of the sides – in the middle) – refer the image
- Fill in a bowl with some paper clips and another tray/bowl with some numbers.
- It’s set for play and you can invite the child to play.
When at a phase of learning something, it’s important for the child to practice it. Also when you provide different set ups with the same kind a learning, the interest of the child doesn’t fade out.
Also activity encourages his hand eye coordination while connecting the paper clips.
Purpose of this activity : Number recognition, sequencing/counting.
